                                  Frequently Asked Questions:

When do I practice?
Your practice schedule is up to your individual coach.

Can I begin practice now?
Per FHSAA, no one is allowed to practice with their coach until they are registered for
Fall Ball or a similar type of tournament.  You can and should begin practicing on
your own or with a friend to build up your endurance and better your stick skills.

Exactly what time are my games?
Schedules will be completed 1 week in advance as we determine exact enrollment
and who our visiting teams will be.

My school doesn't have a lacrosse program.  Can I still participate?
Yes.  You may join on with a participating team (upon the Coach's approval) or we
can assign you to a team.

Do girls need to wear helmets?
No.  The FHSAA voted to implement helmets this coming spring season although
they did not determine the exact helmet that would be acceptable and their vote was
based on incomplete information.  We will be participating in their next meeting on
September 29th to attempt to reverse or delay this ruling until US Lacrosse has had
the opportunity to do more research.

Do I need my own gear?
Yes.

Do we need to wear our uniforms to games?
No, in fact school uniforms are not allowed pre-season.  You will receive a free
pinnie with your paid registration and your team will wear those.  Or you can get crazy
and make up fun team t-shirts and such to wear, as long as they are the same for
your entire team.
