2014 MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM
The purpose of our middle school lacrosse program is to introduce boys and girls
to the sport of lacrosse in a learning environment, yet allow them to test their skills
in weekend competitions against other area middle schools.
We utilize select 10th, 11th and 12th grade student players from the area high
school lacrosse teams to teach our middle schoolers. There will be an "On Site
Adult" at every practice to ensure that practices are running smoothly and that
proper skills are being taught.
We will be visiting area middle schools during their lunch hours to hand out
registration information as follows:
3/31 Howard Bishop and Ft. Clarke
4/1 Kanapaha and Lincoln **
4/2 Westwood and Oak View
If you do not attend one of these schools but would like to participate in
our middle school lacrosse program, you are welcome to select one of the
above schools and participate in their program, attending their practices
and following their game schedule. Simply note the school your child
wishes to participate with on the registration form and begin attending
their practices. (You do not have to attend their lunch for registration

** For Lincoln participants, please be aware that GLAX will be running the
girls' portion as usual. The Lincoln boys' program will be run by Jim Berg
outside of the GLAX umbrella. Lincoln boys will still need to register with
GLAX however Mr. Berg will be in charge of and responsible for all practices
and any questions related to that. His contact information is: Jim Berg, direct
work: 352-384-7014, cell: 352-318-1923 and e-mail: Jim.Berg@CH2M.com
