2016 GLAX FALL BALL FOR HIGH SCHOOL

BOYS AND GIRLS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER

The GLAX High School Fall Ball League was established in 2009 to give boys’ and girls’ high
school lacrosse teams the opportunity to practice and play during the off-season.  Our
philosophy is simple:  we want to help you take your game to the next level by getting a
stick in your hand now.   We offer:

*        Full field games with officials.  Games will be played at the Easton Sports Center in
Newberry so we're easy to get to.
*        Compliant with FHSAA regulations.  This league offers all registered teams the ability
to practice with sticks legally out of season.  Only players who have officially
registered for Fall Ball tournaments may practice with their teams in accordance with
         FHSAA rules.
*        Insurance provided.  No US Lacrosse membership required (saving you $35).
*        The Best Value of any league in Florida, $75 is one of the least expensive fees in the
South.  And you won't have to incur hotel and travel expenses like you do for overnight
         tournaments.

Take advantage of this critical learning and team building experience during the off-season.
This year we anticipate having area schools, as well as teams from Ocala, Tallahassee and
Jacksonville participating.  Teams will play two games each game day.  Each game (both
boys and girls) has two 20 minute halves, running clock with a 5 minute halftime.   Our
emphasis is on learning, having fun, and providing your team the opportunity to build and
prepare for Spring season.  Practices are the responsibility of the coach for each
participating club and can commence once the team is registered.  Every registered player
will receive a reversible, numbered pinnie to keep and play in.

Out of town teams should contact me directly.

 SANTA FE PLAYERS

Santa Fe players - if you still have gear that has not been
returned, you must get it returned to me or you will go on
the debt list at school.  There are currently 3 boys that have
this dubious honor.
Thank you.
